FAQs

What is PDRN, and what's in these pads?
Our pads use hydrolysed DNA, a salmon free plant derived alternative to traditional PDRN, alongside a peptide complex, bifida ferment and amino acids to support smoother looking, better hydrated skin.
How many pads, and how long will the tub last?
100 pads. Used once a day that's a little over three months, or around seven weeks using them morning and night. That works out at around 18p a use.
When do I use them in my routine?
After cleansing, on dry skin, before serum and moisturiser. Sweep one pad gently over the face, avoiding the eye area, and let it absorb before your next step. They're a toner step, not a cleanser, so they go after you've washed your face rather than instead of it.
Do they replace my cleanser or my micellar water?
No. They're a toner, which means they refresh and prep skin and lift any last traces of residue after cleansing. Cleanse first with the micellar water or foaming cleanser, then use a pad.
Are they exfoliating pads?
No. There are no acids in them and no grit. They're hydrating and prepping rather than exfoliating, which is why they're gentle enough for daily use where an acid pad wouldn't be
Do I need to rinse after?
No, leave it to absorb and carry on with your routine.
Is there a tool for picking the pads up?
Yes, the tub comes with tweezers so you're not putting fingers into the jar. That keeps the remaining pads clean and the formula uncontaminated.
What do they smell and feel like?
Cherry Bubblegum scented, and they feel cool on the skin, which is especially welcome in hot weather. Some people keep the tub in the fridge for extra cooling.
Do they dry out?
Close the lid firmly after every use. The pads sit in the gel in the tub, and if the lid is left loose the top layer will dry.
Is it suitable for teens?
The formula is gentle in terms of actives, but the essential oil blend makes it less suitable for very young or reactive skin than the basic cleanse and moisturise products.
